|  Hi! My name is Valerie Bennett and I'm the new Delawana Children's
Program Director. I've been lucky enough to work with children since
the ripe old age of 13, starting out as a swim coach and moving on to
summer camps and climbing wall instruction. I have a history degree
from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, where I was also able to
study outdoor recreation. I am an avid cyclist (I spent last summer
biking across Canada), and look forward to enjoying an awesome summer
with you and your family at the Delawana!
The Very Important
Kids Club
at the Delawana Inn Spa & Conference Resort strives
to create the best  possible
experiences for children with their every visit. The Delawana VIK
Club is a fully supervised day camp for children ages 3 - 12 running
daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM . Activities include
arts and crafts, rock climbing, land sports, water activities, pool/beach
parties, candle making and a lot more! Click here to see our Summer
Day Camp Schedule . Children in the VIK Club even get a supervised
lunch in our Royal Dining Room.
 
 
Hey teens! Welcome to the Delawana Inn! This year we have a whole
bunch of cool programs just for you. Check out the sample
schedule and stop by and join in the fun. The Delawana
Teen Program runs daily from 10:00am - 5:00pm.
- Supervised outings to local attractions
- Island camping overnights
- Water-ski & Wakeboarding instruction
- Scenic boat cruises
- Rock climbing
- Bonfires
- and a whole lot more!
This year our Teen Program will have totally new activities
& outings such as 1/2 day hiking/canoeing/boating excursions,
evening ice cream cruises and movies under the stars!
We haven't forgotten about the little ones! The Delawana
Daycare is equipped with an indoor and an outdoor facility. With
ECE trained staff and a limited 3:1 ratio, your infants safety is
our prime concern. Our daycare staff will take all of your instructions
and provide the level of care that a parent would expect. Boat rides,
swimming, walks around the property, play structures, arts and crafts
and more will definitely keep them smiling. We're also prepared
for the down times with cribs & playpens. The Delawana Daycare
runs from 10:00am - 12:00pm and from 1:00 - 5:00pm.
All children staying at the Delawana will receive a welcoming gift
bag
 The
Delawana has playgrounds for your kids to climb and slide on, a
splash pad equipped with sprinklers and lots of colorful equipment
to clown around on. Speaking of clowns, keep an
eye out for Delawana's own clown! She knows all the tricks for putting
smiles on your little one's faces. Parents have many ways to spend
all their free time like, playing some golf or relaxing in the on-site
Wanakita spa while their kids are busy making new friends and learning
exciting things.
We've got every age and interest covered! We have adventure for
the adventurous, we have nature for the "outdoorsy" we
even have magic for all the "curious-cats" out there -
you name it! Mini-golf, ping-pong, kayaking, canoeing, sailing school,
paddle boating, fishing, hiking, biking, swimming, pool parties,
a full service spa, barbecues, pinball machines, movie nights, arts
& crafts, tennis, "goofy golf", pool, darts, basketball,
volleyball, bocce ball, guided Waverunner safaris, pontoon rides
- we even have a library!
