From activities that are just for kids and teens to family fun to perfect for adults - there is something for everyone! You'll never think or hear the words "I'm so bored..." Take out a paddleboat, canoe, kayak or windsurf, or learn to water ski. Be sure to check out our great selection of water sports and boat rentals.

However, if you want to just relax and do as little as possible, there are seven different beaches to choose from.

Two of the beaches, The North Beach, and The West Beach are right on site close to accommodation and the Main Lodge. Pull up a beach chair and read or just take in the waterfront view. There are another 5 beach areas on Royal Island including, Jaques Beach with swimming raft, Fraser Beach, Charlies' Beach, Glass Beach, Sallow's Beach.

In addition to our mini-golf, our 9-hole pitch and putt, a variety of resort activities are available. --volleyball, shuffleboard, horseshoes, and table tennis.

Prefer racquet sports? We have two regulation tennis courts available throughout the day.
Tennis balls and racquets are available for use.

Frisbee Golf (or frolf) is now sweeping the nation by storm. Similar to golf, the idea is to get your frisbee into the hole (or in this case a basket) in the least amount of throws. The Delawana frisbee golf course will take participants all over our Ontario Resort property. What a great way to see the Delawana sites. Great for kids and big kids!

Horseback Riding (off-site)
Located in Waubaushene, only a short drive from the Delawana.

The horseback riding trails at Highview Farms are truly a Georgian Bay Experience.  A place to enjoy nature at its best!  Enjoy your trail with an experienced Trial Guide leading the way and horses suited to your riding ability.  No experience is necessary to ride the trail systems.  Please call to book your trail ride and note that the trail duration is approximately an hour.  Group rates for 5 or more on pre-booked reservations.  Trail ride fee: $40 (children must be at least 7 years of age).  Pony rides: $25 / half hour (for children ages 3-7).

Delawana Word Search Puzzle

Exciting kids games for the summer season are continually being added to the kids vacation activity list at the Delawana Inn Spa & Conference Resort. Kids love the outdoors close to the water or on the water, many children become a "beach kid" for part of their stay, and/or participate in the many fun kids games taking place at the resort. Guest will have no problems getting the kids up in the morning because there are so many children activities to either participate as part of a kid’s team, or to learn about in the kids arts and crafts, or nature programs.

Giant Jenga (aka. Hi-Tower)

A game of skill and cunning. Build the tower, then take it in turns
to remove a piece and add it to the top without making the whole tower
tumble. With 58 solid wooden blocks, Hi-Tower builds from approx. 0.9m (3ft 6ins) at the start of the game to 1.5m (5ft) max in play.

Giant Connect 4 (aka. Mega Four in a Row)

Strategy, skill and of course a lot of luck combine in this giant version of this well known game. Take turns to drop your counters into the frame to try to form a line of 4 and stop your opponent from doing the same. Standing 1.3m tall, this game will certainly make an impact and is great fun for players and spectators alike.

Chess

Over sized chess is a must activity for all those lovers of the game. If you have never played and always wanted to learn, what a fun way this would be.

Snakes and Ladders

This over sized activity will defiantly bring excitement to the whole family. A great physical activity will bring smiles and laughs for all.
