Your vacation package includes lunch in the Royal Dining Room for children 12 and under
Please confirm your dinner seating time with the Front Desk if you have not yet done so. Should you wish to change your seating, please let the Dining Room know 24 hours in advance. Seating times are subject to availability.
The Social Kiosk (Ext #519) is located beside the pool and is available from 9:00am – 9:00pm daily (Sundays until 7pm) for sports equipment, bikes (waiver form required), towels and answers to your everyday questions in general. When closed the front desk can assist you.
Sign-up sheets: Sign up for all activities, clinics and tournaments can be done at the Social Kiosk from 9:00am – 9:00pm daily. Should you wish to sign up for activities outside of these hours, sign-up sheets are located at the Front Desk.
Announcements: Be sure to listen for announcements during breakfast, dinner and pool/beach parties regarding daily activities, tournament winners, special events and more.
Beach Towels are available from the Social Kiosk and the North Beach in exchange for one of the towel cards you received upon check-in. Please ensure you return all towel cards before checking out as there is a $25 charge per lost card. Please note: As a common courtesy to all our guests, we ask that lounge chairs
not be reserved (at the beach or pool).
The Mackinaw Restaurant is located beside the pool and is open everyday from 11:00am to 9:00pm. Full menu. Fully licensed.
The vacation store “Up North Outfitters” is available for all of your shopping needs. Open daily from 8:30am – 11:00pm.
Internet Access: We are happy to provide a high-speed wireless “hot-spot” network for our guests. Laptops with wireless network cards can access the Internet from almost anywhere in our main building. Our Internet Zone in the main lobby also has 4 on-line computers, which are available to our guests 24/7. Please pick up hot-spot and Internet Zone rules at the front desk along with an encryption key (for laptops).
The Boathouse Bar is open every night till 1:00am. Darts, billiards, music and more for the midnight owl.

Nature Program: The Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre will be on-site conducting a variety of nature-oriented programs for both families and children. You don’t want to miss these exciting new activities! For more information, check the Social Itinerary. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
For the Kids: Plenty of things to do! Our fully supervised VIK Club, Teen Squad and Infant Day-Care will keep them busy from 10:00am – 5:00pm daily; refer to the Social Itinerary. For more information or camp registration forms, inquire at the front desk. Please note that our day-care attendance is limited to a 3:1 ratio.
Babysitters are available through the front desk after 6:00pm and throughout the evening (until midnight) for $8/hr. for the first 2 children. Each additional child is $1 extra per hour. Please let us know before 4:00pm if you require babysitting services for the evening.
Royal Island: Across Honeymoon Channel
Looking for a nice relaxing hike? Hop into a canoe or kayak and head on over to Royal Island. Beginner, intermediate and advanced trails accommodate just about everyone. See the remains of the old Royal Hotel and other artifacts from days past. Trail maps are available at the front desk. Don’t hesitate to approach any of the Social Staff should you have any additional questions.
