Gary Don your Social Director hosts this fun and informative event in the Boathouse. Come find out everything you'll want to know about The Delawana. We'll sing and dance, let you in on some of the weekend's highlights and then sing and dance some more! It's a great way to meet the social staff as well as your fellow vacationers.

What’s a vacation without Karaoke!?  Join us for a good ‘ol fashion sing-a-long.  Hundreds of songs to choose from, all different music genres.  Grab the mic yourself or watch other fellow guests.  Careful though, no booing until you’ve been up at least once yourself.

Join us for a hike around one of the most spectacular destinations of Georgian Bay.  Georgian Bay Islands National Park is made up of 59 islands, with the most famous of these being Beausoliel.  This is a great opportunity for you to get out and explore this treasure while being guided by a Wye Marsh Naturalist.  The hike will include some of the natural heritage and culturally historic sites found around the Island.  Along the way we will do some nature interpretation and will always have our eyes peeled for the special animals found here.  Please sign up the day before or by 9:00am.

Join us for some great entertainment as the Wye Marsh presents our Live Birds of Prey show.   We will bring you some of the most incredible LIVE birds you have ever seen!  You will be amazed as our knowledgeable Falconers entertain you with stories and legends, life histories, predation, and countless other interesting facts.  It’s when these birds burst into flight that will really dazzle you - while they bob and weave their way around the crowd.  It’s a show you will never forget!

Join the staff from “Me and My Teddy” as you enjoy this bear-making experience!!  Come anytime between 1:00 and 4:00pm to create your very own custom made Delawana souvenir.  First pick out the skin of your new toy.  Then stuff it (with a wish), dress it and accessorize it yourself.  You’ll even get an authentic birth certificate to prove that it belongs to you!  A GREAT family activity not to be missed!  Complete bears range from $10.00 - $45.00.
